Who we are

Barrel n Basket ("we", "us") operates the restaurant at 6/547 Kessels Road, MacGregor QLD 4109 and this website. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

When you request a table, we collect your name, email address, phone number, booking date and time, party size and any notes you choose to add (such as dietary requirements). We do not collect payment details on this website.

How we use it

We use these details only to manage your booking: to confirm it, contact you about it, and prepare for your visit. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing without your consent.

How it is stored

Bookings are stored securely with Amazon Web Services (Sydney region) as a record for our team, and are emailed to the restaurant. Each booking record is deleted automatically 30 days after the booking date. Emails we send you about your booking come from bnb@restogenius.com.

Online ordering, maps and social media

Online orders are handled by our ordering partner at orders.barrelnbasket.com, which has its own privacy policy. The map on our website loads from Google only when you choose to show it. Links to social networks take you to those services, which have their own policies.

Spam protection

To stop automated spam, the booking form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks your browser (including your IP address and basic device signals) without tracking you across other sites. We also keep anonymised daily counters of booking requests per email address and per IP address for two days to prevent abuse. Cloudflare's privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
